The hand engraved aI logo grows from the heart part of Eva Petric’s Earthling image, a human silhouette translated into the Idrija lace pattern. It echoes that we are a part of the web of life, which is sustaining each and every one of us, and is at the same time also sustained by us. If one thread, knot... unties, the whole pattern oscillates and readjusts.
aI is: hand-made, hand-engraved, stemming from hand-made Idrija lace. It is the heart part of Eva Petric’s EARTHLING image multiplied… Only by multiplying our “hearts” will we be able to survive and surpass AI as an aI identity.

ECHO
EcHo, the exclusive Limited-Edition fragrance for the SH Hrastnik Glass Factory embodies the values of SH Hrastnik: purity, passion and heart. These values are accentuated through the scent produced by the company Reynauds & Fills at its laboratory in France, according to my formula.
The house fragrance of Glass Factory Hrastnik "EcHo" is based on the scent of lilac and fern, which encompasses the three values mentioned above. It states its presence with a fresh initial scent (purity), progressing into a stronger one (passion) and ends with a soft gentle lingering scent (heart).
It is encased in a perfume bottle of SH Hrastnik with the engraved halves of the stem cell - a pattern of the symbol of potential transferred into the pattern of Idrija lace, which the fragrance in the bottle of SH Hrastnik connects into a unified whole.

Lavinia, an Echo of Love perfume, a shadow of sincere devotion between the two lovers was especially formulated as a limited edition by artist Eva Petrič (www.evapetric.com) for Mount Lavinia Hotel, Colombo, Shri Lanka. It is to remind of the unfortunate love story and of the special aura that Mount Lavinia has managed to keep till this day.
The silhouette of the dancer Lavinia stems from Eva Petrič’s Gr@y Matter series where she investigates the communication abilities of shadows, expressing emotions.
….Shhh shadow, schatten, sombra, senca, sjenka… dancing, echoing the sweet blablabla, tick tack tack murmuring of the Governor’s love for his dancer Lavinia, his shadow…
We all have shadows like we all have emotions… also the Governor had emotions for Lavinia, for his forbidden love, his shadow… His love remains as an echo, murmuring, luring, and inviting us to join in with our own story bringing our emotions into E@motion!
The legend of Lavinia goes back more than 20 decades to Sri Lanka where a love was born between the then actual British Governor of Ceylon Sir Thomas Maitland and a Mestizo dancer Lovina Aponsuwa. Because their love was seen as inappropriate, a tunnel was built connecting the unused well at Lovina's backyard with Mount Lavinia, the Governor’s residence, named after her, enabling the two lovers to meet with secretly every night. Well, so the legend speaks ...
Till today it is possible to see a part of this tunnel in the famous Mount Lavinia Hotel, which stands on the place of the former Governor's residence and incorporates it into the present hotel.
